We all remember Kim Chiu as the Pinoy Big Brother first season’s grand winner; however, do we still remember her housemates back then?
Mikee Lee, known for his wits and great personality, was the first runner up of the first ever PBB season aired in the Philippines. He was alongside celebrities Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu back then. He was called as the “Pambato ng Ateneo” as he was a student from one of the most prestigious universities in the country, Ateneo de Manila University.
People thought that Mikee and Kim would end up as a love team once they were already in the outside world for the reason that they have mutual feelings for each other. Mikee always teased our chinita princess back then and it was really adorable!
It was really a bit of a surprise when Kim Chiu was paired with co-housemate Gerald Anderson instead of Mikee. Well, it’s not a sad thing, actually. As Mikee becomes inactive to the show business, his door of opportunities opened – like being a thriving corporate professional.
Mikee is already settled in Singapore as a very successful strategy and planning personnel. He says he misses the entertainment industry yet he has no plans of coming back anytime soon. In an interview with him last July 2017, he shared some information about his work.
“For the past few years, I was working for a consumer goods company, where I helped identify growth opportunities for a portfolio of brands in the region. This is also where I learned what good work looks like. Starting this year, I will be working for a firm that invests in and builds new businesses in Asia – where I will contribute to find ways to grow portfolio companies.”
