It was really saddening when “Super Tekla” left Wowowin but he was not the only one who got the supporters of the show’s world by a storm. The sudden disappearance of another host of the said famous TV show, Janelle “Kimchi” Tee, had people questioning everyone. Some of these people even formulated their own theories on why the host left the show yet, as they were only theories, no one was sure whether their speculations were true or false.
And now, the long wait is over. Kimchi spilled the reason why she’s not a host of Wowowin any longer in her recent interview with PEP.
“Actually, before pa masuspend si [Super] Tekla, ako po yung nauna. Ang nangyari noon was nagre-rehearse kami para sa mga bagong segments, tapos kumakain na kami ng dinner, tapos dumating si Wil. Sama-sama kaming mga co-host niya, tapos tinanong niya, ‘Sa akin ba itong ulam na ito?’ May ulam kasi sa harap niya, sinigang na baboy yun. E, siyempre marami kami sa table, so I was assuming na kahit sino pwedeng sumagot. Walang sumagot sa kanya so nagtanong siya uli, ‘Hoy, sa akin ba ito?’ Dahil walang gustong sumagot, ako na yung sumagot, sabi ko ‘Sa iyo,’” the former host stated.
She even added, “Tapos siguro nung time na yun, baka stressed na si Wil, pagod, parang ang dating sa kanya maldita raw ako. Sabi niya, ‘Bakit ang taray niyo rito?’ Tapos iyon, nagalit siya, nagalit siya na mataray raw yung pagkasagot ko. And then, iyon, hindi na niya ako pinagreport sa work. Kumbaga sinabihan niya yung EP [executive producer] naming na, ‘Sabihin kay Kimchi wag na muna siyang pumasok.’ Iyon ang nangyari.”
