Recently, the 33rd Star Awards for Movies was held at the Resorts World Manila. Several actors and actresses, even prominent people with other jobs, were commended and recognized. There were several nominees on the “Darling of the Press” award yet it was won by Luis Manzano.
As Lucky was being rewarded, famous comedienne Alex Gonzaga jokingly asked him if how much did he buy his award. This same incident has been the talk of the netizens since the 3rd of September.
Luis finally reacted about what happened. He defended his friend, Alex, and said that they are simply like that. Her joke doesn’t mean anything, he said. As a matter of fact, they are worse when they’re off cam.
On the other hand, the mother of Luis, Vilma Santos, said the same thing that her son did. The two celebrities were just like that when they are “nagkukulitan,” she added.
