Construction workers were really astonished by what they have discovered while excavating through the grounds in the middle of a site in the province of Hunan, China. They saw a coffin built out of limestone and fine wood containing a still intact body that was discovered to have lived for several centuries before the present time.
The well-preserved corpse, still clothed in such fine clothes, was analyzed by experts. The results showed that the body is from either the Ming Dynasty or Qing Dynasty and the man was one of the Wang family’s ancestors.
Some experts from the State Administration of Cultural Heritage of China even based on the clothes the body was wearing and it appeared that he was one of the high-ranked individuals back in his day! The construction on the place the corpse was discovered was put on hold. The body was now transferred to another place for future studies to be conducted.
