Last year, a photo of a young and gorgeous girl circulated across the web. Rita Gaviola, given the alias of ‘Badjao Girl,’ was one of the Badjaos who can be seen all over tourist-filled streets. She used to ask for alms while carrying a baby until one day, a photographer was astonished by her beauty then took some snapshots of her.
Who would’ve thought that those simple photos will help open doors of opportunities for Rita. Entering the Pinoy Big Brother House must probably be her biggest break. She was invited to become a housemate on the longtime-running ABS-CBN reality TV show.
In the past, we could only see her roaming the streets because she lived just there. Now, she is already comfortably living the life she truly deserved with her family. Rita had tons of projects already and she has already earned enough to support her family’s needs.
The young celebrity has turned 14 this May. A year has passed and she still unceasingly expresses her gratitude for those who have been there and supported her right from the beginning of her career. But lately, Rita has been linked with her best friend who people speculated as her lover as well.
Some photos featuring Rita and a certain Gello Angelo Marquez, a handsome cosplayer and cover artist, went viral on the internet. The two best friends were caught being sweet to each other. A report by Healthstagram also revealed that the two were also seen partying together.
Meanwhile, Rita has not yet confirmed or denied anything. However, the photos garnered several reactions from netizens. Some claimed that she is too young for love.
