Pokwang is one of ABS-CBN’s greatest comedienne. Despite that, she admits to not be convinced about the recently posted videos of her co-actor, John Lloyd Cruz.
Short clips uploaded on Instagram featured the actor in a severe state of drunkenness. He was seen hugging a gas tank, singing, dancing, and even dangerously playing with a knife. He was also noted to have called his rumored girlfriend, Ellen Adarna, with the endearment “baby,” while the latter was preparing for their meal. As John Lloyd was slicing an onion, he continuously chanted, “I’m just saying, baby, I’m just saying, okay?”
The blockbuster king gained condemnations about his behavior. After all, people only see him as the charming John Lloyd who we all blatantly admired.
The said clips were taken on his 4-day trip to a private resort in the island of Bantayan, Cebu. He went together with Ellen and her non-showbiz friends. It was rumored that the trip was for the speculated relationship of co-stars Ellen and John Lloyd.
A pregnant Pokwang gave the wisest advice to John Lloyd amidst the negative opinions that he seemed to be getting due to the videos. In her personal Twitter account, she posted the following words:
“Kung ako si JLC sampahan ko ng kaso yung nag upload ng video nya ng walang pahintulot!”
The compromising videos of the drunk John Lloyd were posted by Ellen’s non-showbiz friend named Doreen Ting. The posts were only accessible for a short period of time but there are netizens who saved a copy. Despite having received lots of hate, the celebrity just apologized for what happened and admitted that he had no regrets over the incident.
