A post about an unrecognizable sea-creature was circulating online for the past few days. It was found after Hurricane Harvey had hit Texas. The photo was uploaded by Pressti Desai on his personal Twitter account.
The image shows an animal having no face, very sharp teeth, and long tail. Desai captioned his post by saying, “Okay, biology twitter, what the heck is this?? Found on a beach in Texas City, TX #wildlifeid”
“Hey guys, so this thing wasn’t frightening, wasn’t colossal, and wasn’t a monster. It was just a dfamn sea creature trying to live its life,” he added later on.
Apparently, as reported by the “independent.co.uk,” the netizen isn’t just a simple netizen but a social media manager in National Audubon Society. Desai was allegedly conducting a few investigations along with some other conservationist when they discovered the creature.
According to GMA News, some experts claim that the animal is a “fangtooth snake-eel” or “Aplatophis chauliodus.” It could also be possibly a “Bathyuroconger vicinus” or “Xenomystax congroides.”
