Suicide is one of the effects of excessive depression. What’s even more saddening is that most people who commit suicide are the young ones. It can be hard to distinguish a suicidal and depressed person because they keep the problem to themselves.
Just recently, a principal from Duyun, Guizhou Province in China saved a middle school female student from an untimely death. The teenage girl was about to jump off the 17-storey high building but the principal grabbed her right on time.
When the rescuers came to the area of the incident, they immediately backed off because the student told them to do so. It’s very fortunate that the principal took the initiative to pull his student into safety. Because of his quick reflexes, he was able to save the girl from a miserable death.
As reported in an article published by Shanghaiist (shanghaiist.com), the middle schooler’s family and friends also tried to prevent her from committing suicide; however, she disregarded their pleas.
