Juliana Palermo is known to be one of the sexiest actress in the Filipino showbiz industry. She debuted with the movie “www. XXX .com,” released in the year 2003, which won her a Breakthrough Performance by an Actress award in the 1st Golden Screen Awards in 2004. Aside from that, she also starred in “Panaghoy sa suba: The Call of the River (2004),” “Kaleldo (2006),” “Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo (2006),” and its sequel entitled “Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo (2007).”
She was also known for starring in various TV shows and posing for our local Men’s Magazine, FHM. She once wrote a sex advice column.
Even though she had a very stable career in the entertainment industry, she suddenly disappeared from the limelight. Apparently, she went abroad and worked as an assistant for a website company with branches in Hong Kong and New Zealand. In a past interview with PEP.ph, Palermo revealed that she doesn’t have any plans of returning to her acting career. She said:
“There are no plans naman na magbalik ako sa showbiz. I have no manager and I am enjoying my work outside of showbiz.”
Currently, the former sexy star is living in her hometown, Davao City. She stopped working abroad and started a restaurant business along with her half-brother, Alwood Rosie Wick. Their restaurant was named as the “J. Palermo Diner.” Even if she is a busy businesswoman, she still finds a way to make time for her baby boy, Ace Christian, with her non-showbiz lover. Juliana is also a part of the Department of Tourism based in Region XI and of the OfficePartners360.
