Kim Chiu is a veteran Kapamilya actress. Aside from that, she is also prominent in the modelling industry due to her admirable mannequin-like physique. The 1st Pinoy Big Brother Grand Winner owns an extravagant home in an exclusive subdivision located in the city of Quezon. She gave her family a three-story and a four bedroom mansion built on a 600 square meters lot.
She recently appeared on the morning talk show called “Magandang Buhay.” When she was asked about the luxurious home, the actress revealed that she only told her family about it when it was 80% finished.
Apparently, the reason why she decided to surprise her family with a very beautiful mansion is because they didn’t have a permanent place to stay. According to her, her family only slept here and there. It is just her way to pay them back with her love and care.
The renowned actress revealed that she was really hands-on with the house. It is fascinating that she had kept the very big project a secret for two long years! It took two years for the house to be fully furnished. The construction started when she was 18 and was finished when she was already a 20-year-old.
The mansion, designed by Janet Diquiatco-Torio, has a touch of the Victorian, Neo-Classical, and Contemporary eras. The combination of the styles is soothing and relaxing. It is as if you are in a museum! The front door has mystical knots as its embellishment. These knots are believed to bring good fortune and harmony in the life of the owner – which is probably true considering how wonderful Kim Chiu’s life is right now!
The moment you enter the house, you’d feel a luxurious aura for the grand staircase, plush carpets, warm lights, and bricks will firsthand greet you. When you look up, you’d see an astonishing crystal chandelier. The dining room will remind you of the Grecian period due to the mixtures of blue and white in the mural on the wall. Beside it, you can sneak peek at the kitchen. It was filled with high-technology appliances which can add excitement during family dinners.
The outside spaces are as stunning as the inside. The house’s lanai has a beautifully woven daybed which are perfect when you seek quiet time for your inner peace. What’s even more wonderful is that the mansion has a home theater with comfy chairs and bean bags. Not only that but she also has her own salon which is truly convenient for her line of work.
