The new generation may not know this but Ernie Zarate was one of the showbiz industry’s most skilled actors. He was famous for his astonishing performance of his roles in the films “Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang (1974),” “Relasyon (1982),” “Orapronobis (1989),” and “Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara (1995).” We haven’t heard of the prominent actor lately but the latest news about him is truly heartbreaking.
The Philippine Entertainment Portal reported that Ernie Zarate has passed away after struggling from complications of diabetes on the morning of the 16th of September 2017. Apparently, diabetes wasn’t the only illness of the veteran. His sports announcer son, Noel Zarate, revealed that his father had a kidney failure way back in 2015 and he had even undergone dialysis as treatment to the sickness.
According to the report, the remains of the action star are now in Christ the King Parish located in Greenmeadows, Quezon City. It has also been stated that he would be buried this Thursday, 21st of September 2017.
