In Ireland, the couple, Gary and Angela Williams, was enjoying their quality time in one of their favorite places when they discovered a stone that they didn’t expect will be of value! They found it when they smelled something like a rotting fish’s stench. They didn’t know that due to their curiosity of wanting to find out where it came from, they can earn over a hundred thousand dollars.
While searching for where the unrecognizable stench came from, they had seen a strange big rock with the size of a football. The lump had a waxy texture and apparently, it is the source of the odor.
The couple got a gist of what it was because they have read news that people are unraveling rocks like what they’ve found. You wouldn’t expect what it is! It is actually Ambergris which is the vomit of a sperm whale. Yikes!
Who would have known that sperm whale vomit could be as expensive as a car? The couple took the lump home as it is covered in a scarf. They have found out that what they’ve just discovered weighs about 3.5 pounds. They got very excited because they have heard of someone cashing in the Ambergris that is twice the size of the one they found and it equaled to a whopping $155,000.
